Mira Niittymäki

Master of Arts, Research Assistant

Mira Niittymäki is a visual artist and designer. She holds an MA in Contemporary Design (Aalto University) and a BA in Glass Art & Ceramics (Aalto University). In her practice, she is fascinated by different connections to the natural world and seeks inspiration from the wisdom within non-human entities.

In her work as a research assistant, she utilizes her endless curiosity and craft knowledge. Her latest interests in research include material and elemental literacy in the context of art and crafts.
